Lagos hangouts:Another saturday outing in Planet one and Rodizzio

Ask me where I was on Saturday 25th July, I was in one area, but two different locations. No need to ask, I will tell you myself, after all you read the post title, abi.  In this Lagos, It seems Ikeja and Lagos Island is still battling for the supremacy of which area's social life and hangouts rocks most. Am yet to find out myself, still experimenting.  But feel free to let me know your mind.

Me, stepping out
So where was I? Now I remember, about Saturday right! I was in Ikeja throughout, contemplated going to Ibadan for an event, but was scheduled to be at the Sdk bvs party happening same day, didn't want to miss that for the world.  I got to the event late, talk of African time and I missed taking pictures with my group members. (Sherry, Sapio,Wande,Yetty, Special angel,Empress and others).

The party's highlight for me came during Ire's Performance, she calls herself stage devil and she is, the lady is definitely something else with her acrobatic dance moves and strong voice. Amara's antics were on point too, kept everyone laughing through the nite, not surprising to hear he is a African Magic's viewer choice nominee. I wonder whats so special about Baritone voices that made most ladies "awwhed" and "ahhhed" at Ayo (of Traffic radio)'s voice, some literally fell off their seats. Well, who no like better thing, his voice is cool sha , if  that's his real voice.
And what Olamide will still cause with his "shakiti bobo" song, no be here. Even married women left their husbands' side to showcase their dancing skills. Whats more, Blackface, Miss Global peace Nigeria put in appearances and Mr Okenla, an ex Nigerian footballer was honored. I enjoyed the cake ( courtesy Ziw cakes) and song renditions too. All in all, it was a wonderful event  put together by Henrietta (one hardworking lady) and her team members. Looking forward to next year's party. For more pics head over to SDK

And where all this took place? Its at Planet one, beside Mobil filling station just at  Maryland bus stop . Never knew Planet one still had so much to offer, going by  the number of years the social spot has been in existence, you know several other spots decline once they have made name for themselves, maybe due to negligence, relaxed attituide or poor managemment. But Planet one seems to age with added experience and value.  It has a cool ambiance, tlarge space, different privacy settingds to suit their guests' likes and their food also tasted nice too.

I was still enjoying the taste of the Creamy drink provided by when I suddenly remembered my friend  (AySwag, the gospel crooner) is supposed to be performing at Rodizzio's with Nomoreloss. Though this time, I was not late and my friend didn't eventually perform, but I equally enjoyed the music (it was live performances all through), the drinks (non-alcoholic, of course) and the conversation with the new friends I made ( No names because they are media people).
Rodizzio is at 29, Isaac John street, Ikeja GRA
So next time you looking for a social hangout in Maryland/ Ikeja environs, either go to Planet one ,Maryland or Rodizzio in GRA. Am sure they are more affordable than all those spots in Island that offers same features and they have more parking space too.

Finally, my social life getting its groove back!!!

Nice review of the party Ty, thumbs up. Ire D stage wowed with her performance, so much energy. No wonder they say "small" people are mighty. Amara and Sapio, kudos to you guys for captivating the audience with your roles......Thanks to HettyWealth and her team for making it a success.
