JCI Premier organises Back to School Project in Ibadan

Education has been described as the Cornerstone of any developed society. It is a primary concern of all involved,  parents, teachers, private groups, NGOs and most especially  the government. A leadership organisation, Junior chamber international, premier chapter in its own way of making an impact and  significantly contributing to the Educational Advancement of Oyo State in line with the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Goals No.4 (Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all)  and inspiring action for academic excellence initiated a BACK 2 SCHOOL PROJECT to encourage and inspire  secondary school students.

The theme for the back to school project  has been tagged ' I have a bright future'.  The first school which benefited from this project series was Methodist Grammar School Bodija, Oju Irin, Ibadan  which JCI Premier members visited on  28th of October 2015  where books and educational materials were donated to the students and awards also given to deserving students who have excelled in leadership and academic exploits. 
In attendance at the event were  the students, head teachers, principals, Oyo state education  ministry officials,  press crew and other donors.

The President of the JCI local chapter, Mr Dayo Adefare reiterated that the project is a laudable one and if more sponsors can get on board in partnering with the organisation,  more admirable impact will be recorded in raising the Educational standard of the state.
