JCI Nigeria elects 2017 President at recent Convention in Golden Tulip Hotel, Lagos (Lasgidi 2016)

The Junior Chamber International (JCI) Nigeria elected its 2017 national president  Richard Ojo, of JCI ASO (Abuja), he will take over from the 2016 national president , Amb Tunji Oyeyemi of  JCI Akure. He is expected to lead for one year and achieve the set goals of the organisation.

The election took place during the national convention of the association held at the Golden Tulip hotels, Festac , Lagos hosted by Jci Eko and tagged "Lasgidi 2016". Apart from the election, it was a glitz , glam and learning affair at the Natcon as other activities were held to engage the members  including  debate competition, training activities and networking.

Other officers elected at the event also  include:

Kunle Omowaye- Executive Vice president
Sayo Ojo- Executive Vice president
Wale Bakare- National vice president
Toyin Atanda- National vice president 
Tosin Ligali- Director of training.

Present at the convention were dignitaries and distinguished personalities from all walks of life , including  the current JCI world president, JCI Senator Paschal Dike.  Nigerian artistes such as Small Doctor , Tunde Violin were also on stage to perform for the guests. According to participants, the Lasgidi 2016, National convention was an amazing success.
